Overcoming perfectionism is a constant struggle. I get this idea in my head– I can only run IF:
The weather is nice…
My running clothes are clean…
My running clothes are cute…
My hair is properly tied back…
I have my iPod…
I have my iPod arm band…
MapMyRun is tracking my run…
It’s dusk so nobody can really see me…

Amazon Prime Day - Fire Tablet Lowest Price Ever, Just $33.33

Bunk! Gotta get over this! So Monday I start MapMyRun and it didn’t give me my 1 mile stats… then it didn’t give me my 2 mile stats. But I finished my morning run anyway, in my not-cute running clothes, without my iPod arm band, in a light rain.

Perfectionism is just a form of fear– the fear of succeeding. I’m mulling over it and will write more about it later, but just wanted to encourage you to not give in to the fear that you’re not fully equipped to meet your goals!

I CAN do all things through Him who gives me the strength to overcome!

Have a blessed perfection-free day!
